Changing Colours

  • Click on the Tools menu and select Internet Options.
  • From the General tab, click Colours.
  • Untick the Use Windows Colours box.
  • Click on the colour box next to Text and then select an appropriate colour.
  • Click on the colour box next to Background, and then select an appropriate colour.
  • To change the colour of visited links, click on the colour box next to Visited and then select an appropriate colour.
  • To change the colour of unvisited links, click on the colour box next to Unvisited and then select an appropriate colour.
  • Tick the Use hover color if you want the links on the page to change colour when the mouse rolls over them, then click on on the colour box next to Hover and select an appropriate colour.
  • Click OK.

Removing Images

  • Click on the Tools menu and select Internet Options.
  • From the Advanced tab, scroll down to Multimedia and untick the Show pictures box.
  • Click on Apply.
  • Click on OK.

Changing Fonts

  • Click on the Tools menu and select Options.
  • Click on the Content icon from the menu located at the top of the window.
  • In the Fonts & Colors section you can select a default font and size.
  • Now click Advanced... and untick Allow pages to choose their own fonts... if you wish to override web page fonts.
  • Make any desired font changes.
  • Click OK.
