Two New Childcare Courses Now Available - Monday, August 24th, 2009

Learn HQ has developed two new eLearning courses for childcare professionals: Safe Handling of Medicines in Childcare Settings and Safeguarding Children.

Safe Handling of Medicines in Childcare Settings provides guidance for employers and employees who need to safely handle, and administer, children’s medicines. The course is ideal for a number of childcare settings including nurseries, schools, and childminders.

Safeguarding Children is essential for anyone whose role brings them into contact with young people. It provides delegates with an awareness of child protection issues from legal, social, and practice perspectives. The course will encourage learners to carefully consider ethical dilemmas, and equip them with the knowledge to identify and report signs of possible abuse or neglect.

Both courses have an assessment at the end, if users pass they will receive a certificate as proof of their achievement.

These courses can be purchased individually or as part of Learn HQ's Childcare Professional's Learning Pack, which includes five eLearning courses and a Risk Assessment Workbook, all in which have been designed specifically for the childcare industry.
